I doubled this and did in large pan for a crowd. However can be done as a one or two layer cake with icing in middle too.

1 box yellow cake mix
half cup oil
4 large eggs
11 ounces mandarin oranges with juice
8 ounces cool whip
8 ounces crushed pineapple and juice
1 package instant vanilla pudding

How To Make mandarin orange cake with pineapple frosting

Step 1

mix cake, eggs, oil, oranges and juice together till smooth

Step 2

can do as one layer or two. Bake till set ...cool
Step 3

Icing... mix pudding with crushed pineapple and juice..fold in cool whip well. Spread on cake and you can garnish with extra mandarin oranges if you wish. Keep refrigerated till slightly before eating.
Step 4

I doubled this recipe and used a large pan since it was for a crowd
