We love this very moist cake. It doesn't last long enough to take a photo of it!!

Ingredients

  • 2 ounces 11 oz cans mandarin oranges(do not drain)
  • 2 cups flour
  • 2 cups sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking soda
  • 2 - eggs
  • 1 cup walnuts

How To Make mandarin orange cake

  • Step 1
    Grease and flour 2 nine inch cake pans.
  • Step 2
    Mix all the above ingredients with a spoon and pour into the cake pans
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes. Cool 10 minutes, remove from pans and continue to cool. Frost with cream cheese frosting.
  • Step 4
    Cream Cheese Frosting 8 oz. cream cheese 1 stick butter 4 cups powdered sugar 1 tsp. vanilla.
  • Step 5
    Mix the above and spread on cake and between layers. Enjoy! It's one of our favorites.
