Ingredients
- CAKE
- 1 box white cake mix
- 1 box strawberry gelatin (small, 3 oz)
- 1 cup neutral oil
- 1/2 cup milk
- 4 large eggs
- 1 cup mashed sweetened strawberries, not drained
- FROSTING
- 1 stick butter, softened
- 16 ounces powdered sugar
- 1/2 cup mashed strawberries, drained

Step 1CAKE: Mix all cake ingredients together and pour into a 9x11-inch pan. You can layer in 2 smaller pans if you'd prefer. Do not fill the pan to the top, or the batter will bake up too tall.

Step 2Bake at 350 degrees for 35-40 minutes.

Step 3FROSTING: Mix together frosting ingredients. It's very important that strawberries are drained. If too thick, keep adding strawberries until it is the right consistency.
