This is a third-generation recipe. The best, moistest, pound cake you'll ever eat. Try toasting a slice with butter; you'll think you're in Heaven! This cake also freezes well (if you have any left over).
Cream together butter, sugar and vanilla. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each.
Sift dry ingredients together 3 times. Add to batter, alternating with sour cream.
Bake @ 350 for approximately 1 hour, maybe a little longer.
