Ingredients For mama's sheet cake

  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2 c
    flour
  • 1 stick
    oleo
  • 1/2 c
    shortening
  • 4 Tbsp
    cocoa powder
  • 1 c
    water
  • 1/2 c
    buttermilk
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 2
    eggs

How To Make mama's sheet cake

  • 1
    Icing: 1 stick oleo 4 Tbsp. cocoa powder 6 Tbsp. milk 1 box powder sugar
  • 2
    Sift flour,then add sugar;set aside.Bring oleo,shortening,cocoa powder,and water to a boil.Combine with flour and sugar mixture.Stir in remaining ingredients.Pour into greased 12x 18 baking sheet and bake at 400* for about 15-20 mins. Check for doneness with a toothpick about 5 mins. before...set aside.Beat icing ingredients well.spread over hot cake...cool til set.
