This is MY birthday cake! For as far back as I can remember my mama made this cake for me on my birthday. I believe I was born with the chocolate addiction gene. Strange though cause my mother did NOT have the chocolate gene, the only chocolate she liked was tootsie rolls. But I could have eaten this cake every day of my life. Mama's been gone 36 years and still today when i taste this cake I think of mama.
