This is my husbands favorite dessert. The M&M's sink to the bottom and form a delicious crust and the marshmallows rise to the top and puff up.

Ingredients

CAKE
1 box golden butter recipe cake mix
1 - medium bag of m&m's
10 - marshmallows, cut into quarters
FROSTING
1 - bag of white chocolate chips
2 teaspoons shortening

How To Make m&m cake

Step 1

Follow directions on cake mix box. Stir in marshmallows and M&M's. Pour into pan and bake as directed. Cool slightly.

Step 2

For frosting, melt chocolate and shortening in microwave safe bowl. Stir to combine. Pour over cake and smoothe. Cool completely before cutting.
