This is a recipe from a box...but the lemon cream cheese frosting is what makes this cake so good.

Step 1

Prepare cake according to box instructions. Bake in a 13x9-inch pan. Allow cake to completely cook before adding frosting.

Step 2

LEMON CREAM CHEESE FROSTING: 1 8oz. cream cheese..softened...1 stick of unsalted butter(softened),1-1lb. box of confectioner sugar. In a mixing bowl add all ingredients...mix on medium to high speed until frosting is nice and smooth...mix in 1to2 teaspoons of fresh lemon just to the frosting. Frost the cake and refrigerate cake, so frosting will set.
