  • 3 c
    flour
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 c
    sugar
  • 2 stick
    softened butter
  • 3
    eggs
  • 1/2 c
    each - buttermilk & sour cream
  • 2 Tbsp
    lemon zest
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla extract
  • 4 Tbsp
    lemon juice
  • GLAZE
  • 3 Tbsp
    fresh lemon juice
  • 2 c
    confectioners' sugar
  • 1 Tbsp
    milk or buttermilk
  • 1 tsp
    lemon zest

How To Make ~ lotsa lemon cake ~

    Preheat oven to 350 degree F. Spray bundt pan with nonstick cooking spray. Bakers secret works great! In a med bowl, sift together flour, salt and baking powder. Set aside. In another bowl, cream together sugar and butter. Add one egg at a time. Mix in sour cream, lemon zest, lemon juice and vanilla. Add flour mixture alternating with buttermilk. Spread into bundt pan evenly. Bake 50 - 60 min or until pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool 5 minutes and turn onto serving plate. Mix glaze, if want thicker add sugar to desired thickness occurs. Enjoy!
