How to Make Lickity Split Chocolate Cake
- Sift together in a bowl, 2 cups sugar & 2 cups of flour.
- In a pan bring to a boil, 1 stick of margarine or butter, 1/2 cup shortening, 4 tablespoon of cocoa and 1 cup of water. After it comes to a boil pour over sugar and flour mixture. Add 1/2 cup sour cream, 2 eggs, 1 teaspoon vanilla & 1 teaspoon of baking soda. Beat all ingrediants together and pour into a greased 9x13 pan. Bake at 350 for 25-35 minutes.
- When cake is almost done, boil 1 stick of margarine or butter, 3 tablespoons of cocoa and 6 tablespoons of sour cream. Slowly add 1 pound of powdered sugar stirring in between. Add 1 teaspoon of vanilla mix well. Pour over cake while hot. Let cake and frosting cool then serve.
