Lenten mocha cake

1 cwhite sugar
1-1/2 call-purpose flour
1 tspbaking soda
1/4 cunsweetened cocoa powder
1 tspvanilla extract
1 Tbspapple cider vinegar
6 Tbspvegetable oil
1k-cup of butterscotch or caramel flavored coffee, brewed at 8-ounce setting
How to Make Lenten mocha cake
- Preheat oven to 350º.
Pour sugar, flour, salt, soda, and cocoa into large mixing bowl and whisk to combine.
In another bowl, combine vanilla, vinegar, oil & coffee.
Add wet ingredients to gry ingredients and stir to combine.
Pour batter into ungreased 8 x 8 pan.
Bake 30-40 minutes, or until toothpick tests clean.
Dust with powdered sugar after cool.
