This cake is really moist and refreshing. Great for a summer picnic or just for snacking.

Ingredients

  • 1 box lemon cake mix
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup hot water
  • 1 box 3 oz. lemon jello
  • 1 can small, frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
  • 2 cups powdered sugar

How To Make lemonade cake

  • Step 1
    Dissolve Jello in hot water and set aside.
  • Step 2
    In a mixer bowl beat cake mix, eggs, and oil for 2 minutes. Slowly mix in cooled jello mixture.
  • Step 3
    Pour batter into well greased 9x13 cake pan. Bake at 300 degrees for and hour and 10 minutes. (Check after an hour.)
  • Step 4
    While cake is baking, combine lemonade concentrate and powdered sugar until well combined.
  • Step 5
    Remove cake from oven. Poke holes in cake with a fork. Be gentle. Pour lemonade mixture over cake. Cool completely.
  • Step 6
    Serve cake with whipped cream. You do not have to chill this cake but I, personally, like it cold.
