yellow cake mix
vegetable or canola oil
small lemon jello mix
2 1/2 c
juice from 2 lemons (to desired consistency)
zest from 1 lemon (or to taste)
How To Make
Pre Heat oven to 350 degrees. Grease a 9 X 13 pan
Mix cake mix, eggs, oil, water, jello mix together for 4 minutes.
Pour into 9 X 13 pan and bake for 35 to 40 minutes.
Meanwhile mix Powdered sugar, lemon juice and zest together. Add just enough of the lemon juice to get a consistency for pouring over cake. This will soak into the cake so you don't want it too thick.
Remove cake from oven, punch holes all over the cake with a fork while it's still hot. Spread lemon topping over cake. Let cool, serve.
