How to Make Lemon Yellow Cake
- Cream margarine, sugar and slightly beaten egg yolks.
- Sift together baking powder, flour and salt.
- To creamed mixture add dry ingredients alternately with milk mixture after each addition.
- Fold in slightly beaten egg whites.
- Add vanilla and lemon extract.
- Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes for two 8 inch layers or 30-35 minutes for one 9 x 12 pan. Test to be sure cake is done.
