egg yolks, reserve whites
1Cream margarine, sugar and slightly beaten egg yolks.
2Sift together baking powder, flour and salt.
3To creamed mixture add dry ingredients alternately with milk mixture after each addition.
4Fold in slightly beaten egg whites.
5Add vanilla and lemon extract.
6Bake at 350 degrees for 25-30 minutes for two 8 inch layers or 30-35 minutes for one 9 x 12 pan. Test to be sure cake is done.
