this is a great lemony cake my sister bakes for us when we go to her house to visit

Ingredients For lemon streusel cake

  • 1 box
    yellow cake mix
  • 1 1/2 c
    water
  • 2 Tbsp
    vegetable oil
  • 2
    eggs
  • 1 sm
    box (3.4 oz) instant lemon pudding
  • STREUSEL MIXTURE:
  • 1/2 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/2 c
    flour
  • 1/4 c
    butter, cold

How To Make lemon streusel cake

  • 1
    Mix together cake mix, water, oil, eggs and lemon pudding mix. Beat for 2 minutes.

    Spread half of the cake batter into a 15x10x1 inch greased pan.

    Sprinkle with the half of the streusel mixture. Repeat with remaining batter and streusel mixture.

    Bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until wooden toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

    Remove from oven. While still warm, drizzle with powdered sugar glaze.
