I made this up one night because I wanted a really moist (pudding) cake that was lemon flavored.

    box yellow cake mix
  • 1
    small box vanilla pudding
  • 3/4 c
  • 3/4 c
  • 4
  • 3 Tbsp
    sour cream
  • ·
    lemon extract, to taste
  • ·
    vanilla extract, to taste
  • ·
    lemon zest, to taste (optional)

  • 1 c
    powdered sugar
  • 1/3 c
    lemon juice

How to Make Lemon Pudding Cake


  1. Stir together the box cake mix & the instant pudding.
  2. Mix in your oil, then milk then your eggs one by one.
  3. Add the remaining ingredients. Mix well until there are no lumps
  4. Grease a budnt pan then pour in cake mix.
  5. Bake at 325-350 for 40 min, making sure to test for doneness.
  6. Let the cake cool for 10 min in the pan. When moderately cool, flip cake pan onto a plate. Glaze cake.
