I actually made this cake up based on what I had on hand. Turns out that other people have made this cake as well but with lemon instant pudding. This cake could also be reworked depending on the cake mix and pudding flavor.

Ingredients

  • CAKE
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 box vanilla instant pudding (small)
  • 3/4 cup vegetable oil
  • 3/4 cup milk
  • 4 - eggs
  • 3 tablespoons sour cream
  • - lemon extract, to taste
  • - vanilla extract, to taste
  • - lemon zest (optional, to taste)
  • GLAZE
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2/3 cup lemon juice

How To Make lemon pudding cake

  • Step 1
    Mix together, alternating wet and dry ingredients, adding extracts last to account for taste. Mix well until there are no lumps.
  • Step 2
    Pour mixture into a greased bundt pan.
  • Step 3
    Bake at 350 for 40 min.
  • Step 4
    Let cake cool for about 10 minutes until you can flip the cake onto a plate. Glaze immediately after removing from bundt pan.
