How to Make Lemon Pound Cake
- Cream together the first 3 ingredients. After creamed together add 1 egg at a time until combined.
Zest the two lemons and add the zest to the above mixture; Add 1 Tbsp of strained lemon juice in with the vanilla. save the lemon juice and strain the pulp from it.
Sift dry ingredients together.
Add dry ingredients and sour cream into creamed mixture; ending with the dry ingredients.
Add vanilla and lemon last.
1/2 Cup Powdered Sugar
1 Tablespoon Melted Butter
Bake in 350 oven. Approximately 1 hour depending on your oven.
