Ingredients

  • 3 cups cake flour
  • 1/2 cup self rising flour
  • 4 - sticks butter softened
  • 9 - large eggs
  • 1 1/3 cups sour cream
  • 1 teaspoon lemon extract

How To Make lemon pound cake

  • Step 1
    Pre-heat oven to 350 and heavily grease and flour a 10 inch tube pan.
  • Step 2
    In a mixing bowl or wax paper stir together both of flours.
  • Step 3
    In a large bowl cream the sugar and butter. Beat in the eggs,add the flour alternate with sour cream. Starting an ending with flour.
  • Step 4
    Beat for 3 min, beat in lemon extract, and then spoon the batter into prepared pan
