lemon jello cake
I made this cake in the 1960's! All of us housewife's and mother's did :)) My husband, Bob was and still is a lemon guy--anything lemon he loves from chicken to dessert and anything in between!!

Ingredients
- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 4 - eggs
- 3/4 cup water
- 3/4 cup oil
- 3 ounces box lemon jello
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 1/3 cup lemon juice, fresh (2 lemons)
How To Make lemon jello cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 325. Grease and flour glass 9x13" baking dish

Step 2Mix together first 5 ingredients. Pour into glass dish. Bake 35 to 40 minutes.

Step 3While cake is baking, mix together 2 cups powdered sugar with 1/3 cup lemon juice.

Step 4Immediately upon taking cake out of oven, poke holes with a 2 tine fork (the more holes the better)Spread the lemon mixture over HOT cake.

Step 5Cool 4 hours. Sprinkle with sifted powdered sugar.
