Ingredients

  • 3 - egg yolks, reserve whites
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 - lemon, juiced
  • - whipped egg whites
  • 1/2 pint whipping cream
  • 1 box vanilla wafers

How To Make lemon ice box cake

  • Step 1
    Cook egg yolks, sugar and lemon juice over hot water until creamy. Let cool.
  • Step 2
    Whip egg whites, bold whipping cream into egg mixture and blend.
  • Step 3
    Place 1 cup vanilla waffer crumbs lining the bottom of the pan before pouring. Sprinkle the remaining crumbs on the top. Place in freezing unit then serve.
