lemon glaze pound cake
We have made this pound cake for quite a few years now, and everyone just loves it. I must say the secret is in the glaze though, with a surprise taste of lemon that is unexpected. I hope you like it!

Ingredients
- 1 package yellow cake mix
- 1 package ( 3.4 oz ) instant vanilla pudding
- 4 - eggs
- 1 cup cold water
- 1/3 cup vegetable oil
- LEMON GLAZE
- 1 1/2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 tablespoons reconstituted lemon juice
- 1 tablespoon vegetable oil
How To Make lemon glaze pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Grease and flour a 10 inch Bundt pan.

Step 2Mix together cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water and oil in a large bowl at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into pan and bake at 350 for 50-60 minutes. Cool 25 minutes. Invert onto serving plate. Let cool completely.

Step 3LEMON GLAZE

Step 4Combine powdered sugar, lemon juice and vegetable oil in a small bowl.

Step 5Stir until well-blended. Unlike a traditional glaze, this should be thick, like a frosting.

Step 6Drizzle glaze from the end of a spoon over the cake, fairly thickly, shaking the spoon lightly, as you go.
