How to Make Lemon Cheesecake
- Heat oven to 300 degrees. Grease and flour bottom and sides of a 10 inch springform pan. Reserve 1/4 cup of cake mix. In a large bowl bear remaining cake mix, oil and 1 egg and lemon peel until crumble. Press into sides and bottom of springform pan.
- Beat reserved cake mix, cream cheese, pudding, and sour cream together. This will be smooth and creamy. Beat in 3 eggs, one at a time until mixed. Pour over crust.
- Bake approx for 1 hour and 40 min. cheese cake should be jiggle slightly when moved. Turn oven off,open door slightly leave cheeses cake in oven another 30 min.
- Remove cheesecake from oven. Place on cooling rack for 30 min. Loosen from pan. Cover loosely refrigerate for 4 hours. Pipe whipped topping on top.
