These bars are creamy and yummy! They do not last long in the house or at a gathering!

Ingredients

  • 1 - pkg. lemon cake mix
  • 1/3 cup butter softened
  • 1 - egg
  • 1 - 8 oz. pkg cream cheese softened
  • 1 cup powder sugar
  • 2 tablespoons grated lemon peel
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 - eggs

How To Make lemon cheesecake bars

  • Step 1
    Blend dry cake mix, butter and 1 egg. Press into a greased 13x9 pan.
  • Step 2
    Beat cream cheese until smooth. Gradually blend in powder sugar. Stir in lemon juice and peel until smooth. Reserve 1/2 cup and refrigerate it. Beat 2 eggs into remaining or un-reserved cream cheese mixutre until blended.
  • Step 3
    Spread over cake mixture. Bake at 350 until set, around 25 mins. Cool completely. Spread with reserved cream cheese mixture. Refrigerate until firm.
