    lemon cake mix
  • 1/2 c
    sofftened butter
  • 3
    room temperture eggs
  • 8 oz
    room temperture marscapone cheese
  • 8 oz
    room temperture cream cheese
  • 1
    zest and juice of a lemon
  • 2
    lemon curd
  • 1
    tub of ready made lemon frosting

How To Make

    preheat oven to 350, grease 9x 13 cake pan
  • 2
    mix cake mix and butter until crumbly, save out 1 cup and press the remaining in the bottom of your cake pan
  • 3
    heat you lemon curd in the microwave for 30 seconds to make it easier to spread, then spread on the base of the cake
  • 4
    Mix eggs, both cheeses, zest, juice of lemon and the tub of frosting, pour on top of the curd, sprinkle with the saved cake crumbs
  • 5
    bake for 40-45 minutes, will be slightly golden brown around the edges
