I was trying to come up with a recipe to use up my cream cheese before the expiration date and this cake is what I came up with.

Ingredients

1 box
butter cake mix
1 box
instant lemon pudding mix
1/2 c
butter
1 tsp
lemon extract
1/2 c
water
3
eggs

FILLING

1 pkg
cream cheese
2
eggs
2 c
powdered sugar
1 tsp
lemon extract

How to Make Lemon cheese cake

Step-by-Step

  • 1For the cake. Mix all the ingredients together and pour half the mixture into a greased and floured bundt pan. Set the remainder aside.
  • 2Mix the filling together and pour over the cake Mix.
    Spoon the rest of the cake mixture over the filling and place in a preheated 350 degree oven for 30 to 35 minutes until top is golden brown and not real jiggly.
  • 3Let cool completely and place in fridge to finish cooling before cutting.
