I never tried this yet but my neighbor was baking this and i got the recipe from her i do know it smelled good while she was cooking it

baking powder
3/4 tsp
1/2 c
1 Tbsp
1 tsp
vanilla extract
5 Tbsp
brown sugar
3 Tbsp
light cream
1/2 c
1/4 c
chopped walnuts

How to Make Lazy Jane Cake


  • 1Preheat oven to 350. Beat eggs. Add sugar gradually and beat until fluffy.
  • 2Sift flour, baking powder and salt together and add to egg mixture. Beat thoroughly.
  • 3Heat milk and butter to boiling point, add to butter. Beat lightly and add vanilla.
  • 4Bake in 7x7 inch pan for 30 minutes.
  • 5I am sorry i left out a couple of things you put brown sugar and cream in cake and sprinkle nuts and coconut on top of cake
