this is a quick & easy recipe my family loves & it goes very quick

Ingredients

  • CAKE LAYER
  • 1 box spice cake mix (can use carrot or yellow )
  • 1 can (15 oz) pumpkin puree
  • 4 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
  • CREAM CHEESE LAYER
  • 1 package ( 8 oz block) cream cheese softened
  • 4 tablespoons butter (softened)
  • 1 large egg
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon lemon juice ( i use bottled)

How To Make layered pumpkin cream cheese cake

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 grease & flour 9 x 13 pan (or use non stick spray; I use Bakers Joy)
  • Step 2
    Beat together all cake ingredients. Pour into prepared pan ( batter will be very thick). spread evenly, set aside
  • Step 3
    Beat together all cheesecake layer ingredients til smooth (No lumps) Pour over cake batter & spread evenly covering all cake batter
  • Step 4
    Bake at 350 for 35-40 minutes in middle of oven. cool on rack til pan is no longer hot, then refrigerate til cold For best results; cut when cold.
