lavender cake with lavender glaze
This is so delicious, It has a very delicate flavor of Lavender and is so pretty. A few months ago I purchased dried Lavender from Penzeys spices, not thinking how much 4 oz would be when it came to Lavender I have a large bag of it. this afternoon I decided to experiment and see what I could come up with I made only a one layer cake since I had not tried this before. It turned out better than I expected and will be one of my favorites from now on.
