Ingredients
- 1 box 18 1/2 oz yellow cake mix
- 1 box 4 oz. package vanilla instant pudding mix (i used french vanilla)
- 1 cup beer (room temperature)
- 1/2 cup canola oil
- 4 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon allspice

Step 1In large mixing bowl, blend all ingredients. Beat at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into a greased and floured 10 inch tube pan. Bake in a 350 degree F. oven for about 50 - 60 minutes (mine took 55 minutes). Cool right side up in pan about 25 minutes; remove to wire rack or cake plate to cool completely. I used a different kind of glaze topping, but here is the original: Lemon Glaze 1 1/2 c. unsifted confectioner's sugar 2 TBS softened butter 1/4 tsp grated lemon peel 1 to 2 TBS lemon juice Blend all ingredients until smooth. Spread on cooled cake allowing the glaze to drip down the sides.
