I found it!!! You could even make ladyfingers for Tiramisu cupcakes. You can just eat it with a drizzle of Dulce De Leche . . or whatever your heart or stomach wants . . .

Ingredients

egg whites
4
egg yolks
2/3 c
sugar
dash of vanilla
1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 c
all purpose flour

How to Make LADYFINGER RECIPE FOR TIRAMISU

Step-by-Step

  • 1Separate eggs into 2 separate bowls.
  • 2Beat egg whites on high speed, until foamy. Add 2 Tbsp. from the 2/3 cup of sugar to the egg whites. Continue to beat until stiff peaks form, set aside.
  • 3In a separate bowl, add vanilla and remainder of the sugar to the egg yolks and beat, set aside.
  • 4Sift together flour and baking powder.
  • 5Fold in half of the egg whites into the yolks. Do it gently.
  • 6Fold the flour mixture into the yolks.
  • 7Fold the rest of the egg whites into the yolks.
  • 8Put the batter into a pastry bag or a zip-lock bag and snip the tip of a corner.
  • 9Pipe the batter onto a greased cookie sheet.
  • 10Bake for 6 minutes, do not turn you back on them. All you want is for the edges to turn brown, and it is done.
  • 11Remove the ladyfingers from the oven onto a rack for cooling.
  • 12Now you can start on your Tiramisu cake!!!
