this is my twist on my moms cake. It's not as good as hers,cause its hers lol.But works for me lol...

Ingredients
- 1 pound butter, room temperature
- 6 cups sugar
- 6 - eggs
- 1 pound white raisins
- 1 pound walnuts
- 1/2 pound cherries
- 1/2 pound candied mixed fruit
- 6 cups cake flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 cup orange juice, fresh
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
How To Make kit's twisted nana's white fruit cake...

Step 1Heat oven to 300F. Lightly grease & flour 3 loaf pans.

Step 2In large bowl cream the butter, gradually add in the sugar & mix together.

Step 3In a separate large bowl mix all your fruits & walnuts mixing ever so softly.

Step 4Then add in 5 cups of the flour to cream mixture, with the last 3 ingredients & mix well.

Step 5Add the last cup of flour to the bowl with the fruit & mix to coat each. Then pour fruit into the cream mixture & blend extra well.

Step 6Pour into greased pans & bake for 2 hours.Let cool for 10 mins & take out of pans.
