When I was a Pampered Chef Consultant I use to make these up to give away to my Hostesses and I made them for my sisters at Christmastime. I made a tag with directions and tied a ribbon on the handle.

Ingredients
- 3/4 cup m&m's, coarsely chopped
- 1/4 cup walnut or pecans, coarsely chopped
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups all purpose flour, divided
- 1/2 can cocoa powder
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup vanilla or white chocolate chips
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 cup water
- 3 - eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 - 1-quart measuring bowl with lid. i used the small pampered chef one, but they do have them at kitchen stores or walmart, target, kmart.

Step 1Coarsely chop m&m's and nuts with a food chopper, set aside. In 1-qt measuring bowl layer dry ingredients evenly as follows: salt, baking powder, 1/2 cup of flour, cocoa powder, 2/3 cup of sugar, chopped candy, 1 cup remaining flour, 2/3 cup of remaining sugar combined with cinnamon, chocolate morsels and nuts. Cover with lid and attach directions on a nice tag.

Step 2Preheat oven to 350F. Combine the contents of batter bowl with oil, water and 3 eggs & vanilla in mixing bowl. Mix until well blended. Spread in a greased only on the bottom of a 9-inch baking pan. Bake for 35 minutes. Cool.

Step 3This a great gift for a teacher, a pastor, friends or family. My family loved receiving it and they had a measuring bowl to boot.
