key lime cupcakes

This was a recipe I had never made before but it looked so good. So I jumped in and tried it. Lots of work kind of but well worth it when done.

Ingredients
- 1 box lemon cake mix
- 1 box lime jello (small)
- 3/4 cup water
- 1/3 cup key lime juice (reg lime juice ok but key lime better!)
- 1/3 cup oil
- 3 - eggs
- 2-3 - drops green food coloring (optional-i used it)
- GLAZE:
- 1 cup powdered sugar
- 2-21/2 tablespoon key lime juice
- FROSTING:
- 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 1/2 cups powdered sugar

Step 1Cake: Add all ingredients for cake - mix well. Fill cupcake papers. Bake 350 - 17-22 min. Cool 10 min then remove from pan

Step 2Glaze: Mix together - add more juice if needed to make thin enough to drizzle on cupcakes - Cool 30 min.

Step 3Frosting: Beat cream cheese & butter til light & fluffy. Add rest of frosting ingredients - beating all til fluffy...FROST!
