key lime cheesecake
I love this cheese cake for a summertime treat. Tart and tangy it is a very refreshing dessert on a hot summer day. Yum, Yum!!!!

Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups fine gram cracker crumbs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 2 tablespoons butter, melted and cooled
- 3 packages cream cheese
- 1 cup sour cream
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 3 tablespoons flour
- 3 large eggs
- 3/4 cup key lime juice
- 1 tablespoon vanilla
- 1 - lime, for garnish
How To Make key lime cheesecake

Step 1IN bowl stir together crumbs and 2 tablespoons sugar; stir the butter in well.

Step 2Pat mixture evenly onto bottom and 1/2 way up sides of a 9-inch spring form pan.

Step 3Bake in middle of a 375° oven for 8 minutes.

Step 4Remove from oven and cool completely.

Step 5In a large bowl with electric mixer beat together cream cheese and sugar until smooth.

Step 6Beat in sour cream, flour and eggs, 1 at a time, beating well after each addition.

Step 7Add lime juice and vanilla. (You can add some green food coloring if you wish)

Step 8Mix until smooth and pour filling over crust.

Step 9Bake cheese in middle of a preheated 375° oven for 15 minutes, reduce the temperature to 250° and bake for another 50 to 60 minutes more, or until center is barely set.

Step 10Let cheesecake cool on rack and then chill overnight.

Step 11Remove cheesecake from pan and transfer it to a cake stand. Decorate with whipped cream, fresh lime slices and or mint sprigs.
