Ingredients

  • CRUST
  • 1 1/4 cups chocolate graham cracker crumbs
  • 1/4 cup sugar
  • 1/3 cup butter, melted
  • CAKE
  • 2 packages packages cream cheese, softened
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup cocoa
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup strong coffee
  • 1/4 cup kahlua liqueur
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 - (8 oz.) carton commercial sour cream
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 6-8 - chocolate curls (optional)

How To Make kahluah cheese cake

  • Step 1
    Combine first 3 ingredients; mix well. Firmly press mixture into bottom of a 9-inch springform pan. Bake at 325 degrees fro 5 minutes. Cool.
  • Step 2
    Beat cream cheese with electric mixer until light and fluffy; gradually add 3/4 cup sugar, mixing well. Beat in 1/2 cup cocoa. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Stir in next 3 ingredients. Pour into prepared springform pan. Bake at 375 degrees for 25 minutes. Filling will be soft but will firm up at the cake stands.
  • Step 3
    Combine sour cream, 2 Tbsp. sugar and 1 tsp. vanilla; Spread over hot cheesecake. Bake at 425 degrees for 7 minutes. Let cool to room temperature on a wire rack. Chill overnight in refrigerator.
  • Step 4
    Remove sides of springform pan. To garnish, place 3 chocolate curls in center of cheesecake. Gently break remaining chocolate curls and sprinkle over cheesecake, if desired.
