kahlua pound cake
I have some catering, mostly small affairs and at church events. This is the recipe that I have sold the most. It gets moe compliments than any other recipe that I make.

Ingredients
- 1 box devil's food cake mix
- 3 1/2 ounces chocolte instant pudding mix
- 1/2 cup oil
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 1/4 cup bourbon
- 1/4 cup kahlua
- - coffee glaze
- 2 cups confectioners sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder - or more depending upon taste
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 3/4 cup double strength coffee
- - small amount kahlua
How To Make kahlua pound cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Mix all ingredients together. Pour into a well greased and floured bundt pan or you can use regular 9 inch cake pans. Bake 50 minutes. Remove from oven and place on wire rack to cool. Glaze when thoroughly cool with coffe glaze.

Step 2COFFEE GLAZE: Combine confectioners sugar and cocoa, mixing well. Combine coffee, small amount of kahlua and vanilla. Add coffee mixture to confectioners sugar very slowly, only a small amount at a time, until you reach a glaze-like consistency but not too runny.
