jewish apple cake

I have had this recipe since I was in high school. I don't know who or where I got it from or how it got it's name. I make it quite often, and I have never had a bad reaction. I think you will like it. Also a good recipe to have if you go apple picking.

Ingredients
- 4 - eggs
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 cup oil
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 4 teaspoons cinnamon
- 4 teaspoons baking powder
- 5-6 - apples (chopped)
- 1 cup nuts (optional)
- 1/4 cup sugar cinnamon mixture (more or less)
How To Make jewish apple cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350*

Step 2In large bowl beat eggs.

Step 3Gradually add sugar, oil, and vanilla until well mixed.

Step 4In separate bowl combine all of the dry ingredients.

Step 5Start adding dry ingredients to the wet. Batter will be very thick!

Step 6After chopping the apples fold them into the batter. Nuts also if useing them.

Step 7Spread into a 13X9 baking dish and sprinkle with cinnamon/sugar mixture. (I like alot.)

Step 8Bake for 50-60 mins. or until toothpick comes out clean
