An easy delicious frosting for cakes or cupcakes.

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup jelly ( your favorite )
  • 1 - unbeaten egg white
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 dash salt

How To Make jelly frosting

  • Step 1
    Combine jelly, ( our favorite is strawberry), egg whites, sugar, and salt in top of double boiler
  • Step 2
    Cook over boiling water beating constantly until stiff peaks form
  • Step 3
    Remove from heat. Beat until of spreading consistency, about 2 minutes.
  • Step 4
    Frost two 8 inch layers or 24 cupcakes
