Can use any type jello you like.I also use flavoring also.This pound cake is not sweet and my husband does not like anything real sweet so he likes this.I dont put the glaze on it because he dont like it on it.But put the flavoring in the glaze also.

Ingredients For jello pound cake

  • 1 package of lemon or lime jello
  • mix with 2/3 cup of water
  • and add 2/3 cup of oil
  • add 1 package of duncan hines yellow cake mix
  • and add 4 eggs and zest from lemon if you are useing lemon.

How To Make jello pound cake

    Put your jello and water and beat slow ,then add oil (I use veg. oil)Then put the cake mix in the bowel with the water and oil, Add 1 egg at a time beating well after each one.Add lemon zest.Add flavoring if you like same as the cake .1 teaspoon.

    Grease and flour a tube pan.Bake at 325 for 1 hour. Cool and top with glaze.

    Glaze, 1 1/4 cups powerded sugar 2Tablespoon orange juice or Lemon, 1 graded zest of lemon or orange 3 Heaping Tablespoon of Marshmallow Creme 1 Teaspoon Lemon Extract. (Or what flavor you choose to make) Mix well and pour over cooled pound cake
