jeannies' magical strawberry cheesecake
I was lucky to have Jeannies in my life. One, who was the wife of my friend Mike, brought me this cheesecake in 1989. The other was my wife for 32 years who made this for me anytime I asked. It is magical because how could anything this easy be so good.

Ingredients
- 2 packages 8 oz packages of cream cheese
- 2 cups powdered sugar
- 2 cups coolwhip or rediwhip
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 - store bought graham cracker crust
- 2 packages strawberries, cut up
- 1 package strawberry glaze
- HOMEMADE MAGICAL CHEESECAKE CRUST
- 1 cup crushed vanilla wafers
- 1 cup crushed cake type ice cream cones (joy)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/3 cup sugar
How To Make jeannies' magical strawberry cheesecake

Step 1Bake crust at 350 degrees for 9 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes.

Step 2Blend together first four ingredients. Add to baked and cooled 9 inch pie shell.

Step 3Cover with strawberry glaze and strawberries.

Step 4Chill before serving.

Step 5Thank God and the two Jeannies.

Step 6Alternately, you can make my Homemade Magical Cheesecake Crust which follows:

Step 7Add the two cups of crushed vanilla crumbs to bowl. Mix remaining ingredients into melted butter. Mix melted butter mix with crumb mix by hand.

Step 8Press into 9 inch pan, over bottom and up the side.

Step 9Bake for 9 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool for 10 minutes. Use in place of store bought crust.
