Ingredients

  • 4
    unsweetened chocolate
  • 1 c
    butter
  • 1 c
    sugar
  • 3/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1 c
    flour
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1/2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 2 Tbsp
    espresso (or coffee if you don't have espresso)
  • 3 large
    eggs (add last)

How to Make Java Brownies

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt chocolate squares and butter; add sugars, vanilla, baking powder, espresso and flour; Mix well; Add eggs.
  2. Bake at 350 doe 35 minutes in 8" square pan. Cool for a bit and sprinkle with power sugar.
