janet lee's coffee cake
Growing up my mother would make this recipe to take to all our family gatherings when my grandparents were still with us. No matter where she would take it someone always asked her for the recipe which she was more than happy to share. From the first bite I am transported back in time to those gatherings and all those who have gone before me. Sweet memories!

-
Step 3Spinkle the top of the batter with the brown sugar, then drop the chunks of butter all over the top and sprinkle with the cinnamon. Bake in a preheated oven 350° for 35 minutes or until a toothpick stuck in the cake part comes out clean.
