THIS RECIPE OF MINE GOT PUBLISHED IN THE TASTE OF HOME MAGAZINE IN MORE THAN ONE PUBLISHING. IT IS A DESSERT FOR ALL AGES. EASY TO MAKE AND DELICIOUS. IT WAS PUBLISHED IN THE TASTE OF HOME AUGUST/SEPTEMBER 2005 (PG 45) AND ALSO IN THE TASTE OF HOME COMFORT FOOD DIET BOOKAZINE.

Ingredients

  • 17 - miniature ice cream sandwiches-divided
  • 1 jar caramel ice cream topping (12 oz)
  • 1 - carton (12 oz) frozen whipped topping-thawed
  • 1/4 cup chocolate syrup
  • 2 - symphony* candy bars with almond and toffee (4 1/4 oz)-chopped

How To Make ice cream sandwich dessert

  • Step 1
    ARRANGE 14 ICE CREAM SANDWICHES IN AN UNGREASED 13X9 IN DISH. CUT REMAINING SANDWICHES IN HALF LENGTHWISE TO FILL IN THE SPACES IN THE DISH. SPREAD THE CARAMEL OVER THE SANDWICHES. NEXT, SPREAD THE WHIPPED TOPPING OVER THE CARAMEL. DRIZZLE WITH THE CHOCOLATE SYRUP. TOP WITH THE CHOPPED CANDY BARS. COVER AND FREEZE FOR AT LEAST 45 MINUTES. CUT INTO SQUARES AND SERVE.
