1Sift together in mixing bowl the first 5 ingredients. In another bowl, mix together the other ingredients. Pour second mixture over the first mixture and stir; DO NOT BEAT. Pour into greased tube pan or Bundt pan. Bake at 350 for 1 hour and 10 minutes or you can divide the batter into 2 nine inch greased pans and bake 350 for 40-45 minutes (check the center with a toothpick and if it comes out clean, it's done). Remove from oven and let the cake cool on a cooling rack for about 10 minutes, then turn it over from the baking pan to a cake plate and let it cool completely, then frost. You may wanna top with some pecans for decoration, as I've done.
Cream margarine and cream cheese thoroughly, then add sugar and vanilla; cream together until smooth. Spread on cool cake.
