Ingredients
- 3 cups all purpose flour
- 2 cups white sugar
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon soda
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3 - eggs, beaten
- 1- 1/2 cups oil
- 1-1/2 teaspoon vanilla
- 1 - 18 oz can crushed pineapple undrained
- 2 cups chopped walnuts
- 2 cups mashed bananas

Step 1Cream Cheese Frosting 1/2 cup butter, softened 1 8oz cream cheese softened 1 lb confectioners sugar 1 tbs. vanilla

Step 2Preheat oven to 350 Combine dry ingredients in a large bowl. Add eggs and oil, stirring by hand until moistened. Stir in vanilla, pineapple, bananas and one cup of crushed walnuts. Stir only with spoon.(do not use mixer) Spoon batter into three well greased and floured 9-inch round cake pans. Bake 30 minutes or more. Test for doneness. Watch carefully. Cool 10 minutes. Remove to rack to cool.

Step 3Frosting Beat butter and cream cheese with mixer until light and fluffy. Add confectioners sugar gradualy, beating until at spreading consistency. Beat in vanilla. Frost cake and sprinkle remaining nuts on top.
