Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon ahortening
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 - egg
- 4 tablespoons cocoa, dissolved in 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 teaspoon baking soda, dissolved in 1/2 c. boiling water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
How To Make hot water chocolate cake

Step 1Mix all ingredients and pour into 11 x 13 greased pan. Bake at 350 for about 30 minutes. This cake is very moist and "fudgy".
