Ingredients
- 1/4 C - margerine or butter
- 1 c - milk
- 1/2 t - salt
- 2c - sifted flour (or cake flour)
- 1 t - heaping (teaspoon) baking powder
- 4 - eggs
- 2 c - sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
How To Make hot milk cake

Step 1heat margarine or butter in milk til hot ++milk and butter mixture should be at a temperature as to when you put your finger in the milk you don't pull it out fast because it's too hot

Step 2beat eggs til thick and lemon color (3 min) on high speed add sugar beat well, another 4 minutes

Step 3sift: flour, baking powder, salt. Stir in egg mixture alternate with milk mix and ending with the flour mixture. Stir in vanilla

Step 4Pour in 2 greased 9" pans and bake @350 degree 30-35 minutes or center is not raw. Cool cake, put jelly between layers (raspberry, or elderberry,or I like apricot jelly) frost or sprinkle with XXXXsugar

Step 5Estelle mixed powder sugar, vanilla and a little milk til has right consistance
