Ingredients
- 1 cup all purpose flour
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons cocoa powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup chopped nuts, if desired
- 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed
- 1/4 cup cocoa powder
- 1 3/4 cups hottest tap water
How To Make hot fudge sundae cake

Step 1Heat oven to 350 degrees. Mix flour, sugar, 2 tablespoons cocoa, baking powder and salt. Mix in milk, oil and vanilla with fork until smooth. Stir in nuts. Spread in 9x9x2 ungreased pan. Sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 cup of cocoa over batter. now pour hot water over batter. Bake 40 minutes. Serve warm, topped with ice cream. Spoon sauce from pan onto each serving. Makes 9 servings.

Step 2Butterscotch Sundae Cake; Subistitute 6 onces butterscotch chips for the nuts. Decrease brown sugar to 1/2 cup and the cup of cocoa to 2 tablespoons.

Step 3The same as above for Peanut Butter Sundae Cake. But just switch peanut butter chips. If you want Mallow Sundae Cake then substitute 1 cup of minature marshmallows for the nuts.
