Ingredients
- 1 cup flour
- 2 tablespoons cocoa
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons salad oil
- 1 cup nuts, chopped
- 1 3/4 cups water, hot
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup brown sugar
- - walnuts, optional
How To Make hot fudge sundae cake

Step 1Heat oven to 350.

Step 2In an ungreased square pan, 9" X 9" X 2", stir together flour, sugar, cocoa, baking powder and salt.

Step 3Mix in milk, oil and vanilla with fork until smooth; stir in nuts.

Step 4Spread evenly in pan; sprinkle with brown sugar and 1/4 cup cocoa.

Step 5Pour hot water over batter; bake for 40 minutes. Let stand for 15 minutes.

Step 6Spoon into dessert dishes or cut into squares, then invert each square onto dessert plate.

Step 7Top with ice cream and spoon sauce over each square.
